1. What’s your favorite thing about Will Smith? Do you think he’s cooler than Dave Brubaker? Why or why not?
2. Read Philippians 1:1 and Ephesians 2:6. These passages point to the two places we exist – we are both in the world and “in Christ.” How do you experience these two realities in your life?
3. Read Matthew 20:20-28. “Can you drink the cup?” In what ways has 2020 felt like this kind of cup? Compare and contrast the U.S. to the disciples who seem confident in their ability to drink it.
4. Read Hebrews 12:26-27. What have you found to be “shakeable” in 2020? What has been “unshakeable”?
