With Easter just a couple weeks away, this is a time when churches everywhere are getting ready. Trust me, we’re in that mode too – just check out this and this and this. But before all that happens, let’s talk about a very practical way we can prepare our hearts for this season:

It’s a collaborative effort which gathers hundreds of volunteers to help transform neighborhoods through beautification projects. Come out and share the love. What perfect timing for this to be happening the week before Easter! It’s a tangible expression of the love and humility Jesus modeled for us at the cross. We’d love to have you join with all the friends and partners across the community who help make this happen – hundreds of volunteers will be there to help transform and beautify our local neighborhoods through service.
If you want to get even more of a head start, you can be part of prayerfully preparing the way for Love Santa Ana tomorrow, April 1st at 9:00am. We’ll meet at KidWorks, then head out to bless the local neighborhoods we’ll be serving the following week.
Which leads me to a verse that brings it all together, making Easter and Love Santa Ana very personal for all of us:
