Havens Discussion Questions
1. Movie Church Activation: Beginning at the end – Interstellar’s final scene shows a lonely person on a faraway planet. Where do you see loneliness around you? What could you do to connect with that person?
2. Read Ephesians 3:14-21. This is Paul’s prayer for the Ephesians. It starts off with a massive affirmation of our identity: “For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name.” What does it mean to derive our name from our Heavenly Father?
3. This is a favorite theme in Movie Church: family resemblance. What divine family resemblances do you see in your Haven? Take some time to point them out in each other.
4. Read Matthew 7:9-12. “Because my dad promised me.” How does this passage shape your picture of who God is?
