Whenever I watch this, I think of the old worship song, “Amazing Love.”
“I’m forgiven, because You were forsaken
I’m accepted, You were condemned
I’m alive and well, Your Spirit lives within me
Because You died and rose again.”
Jesus made a sacrifice that we could never earn, but we can live our lives as a salute to the cross.
